What Eduardo says, ”You are my only friend”, and is talking about the things Mark did wrong, I think it’s important to view that through its context. They’re at… they’re at a deposition where Eduardo is trying to get money from Mark and is saying these things on the record. Uhm, this makes his case look a lot better.

This is how I looked at it as an actor in order to play Mark and justify Mark’s actions, is that Eduardo is saying that because it helps his case, not because it’s the truth. So I was supposed to react kind of coldly to Andrew here. When somebody tells you “I was your only friend” it’s hard to react coldly but if you think of it like ‘this is somebody who is trying to take my money by manipulating these lawyers into saying that I had one friend’, then it’s insulting!
